A while back I made this wedding card, only request was white and a little red. I think I managed that pretty well.
For this card i just used plain white cardstock from my stash. I have used dies from Spellbinders for the squares, one piece was embossed with an embossing folder from Sue Wilson and then I think I handcut the Rectangles afterwards. For the center piece I used 2 of the dies from the Elegant Ovals from Spellbinders, probably the 2 dies I use the most after the squares. I added some ribbon and tuille from my stash and the red roses are made using a die from Marianne Design. The little red heart is a waste piece from another card.

Birthday cards for boys
My son was invited to a double birthday party so that required 2 cards. It was kind of last minute I made them, so to make it easy for myself I decided to make the 2 cards identical.
I used paper from UHK Gallery and the sentiment is also from them. It is actually from a Christmas collection, but can also be used as a birthday greeting. The squares are as usual cut out with dies from Spellbinders and for the numbers I used a Marianne Design die. The straws I found at a local supermarket.

Another girly confirmation card
I had another order for a confirmation card for a girl, this time with a picture of the girl on her horse.
For this card I used papers from Lemoncraft's "Everyday's Spring" collection. It has some really nice green and pink papers, that fit very well together. Behind the picture I put some pink card stock from my stash. I have used dies from Spellbinders (the squares and the cross), Sue Wilson (the doily), Joy Crafts (the letters for the name) and Nellie Snellen (the circles and Konfirmation). All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the cheesecloth, half pearls and silver cross are all from my stash. The squares were distressed and inked with Distress Ink.
I also made two identical soccer themed confirmation cards, but apparently I forgot to take pictures of those, at least I can't seem to find them on neither my phone nor my tablet, which is a shame cause I would have liked to put them on the blog as well.

Altered can
Almost two years ago I made this altered can for a birthday present. I had seen it on Pinterest and thought it was a really good idea, so I had to try it myself.
It was actually not that difficult , so I might do it again, I just have to remember to open some cans at the bottom and then save them, so I can do it again. The can is covered with some paper from my stash. For the border around the top and bottom I used a punch bought at a "dollar store", and then I used a Spellbinders die "Radiant Rectangles" for the tag and the decoration. The butterfly is from Wild Rose Studio. I also used a few flowers and a ribbon from my stash.

A wedding exploding box
Recently one of my colleagues ordered a wedding card from me. I have made several exploding boxes as wedding cards before so she requested one like that. I had some of the sheets from Maja Designs "Summertime" collection which are romantic and perfect for a summer wedding card. For the base I used a piece of 12x12 white cardstock, and for the lid and behind the squares I used some dusty flesh/pink tone cardstock.
This is the box with the lid on. The flowers on the lid are from WOC, the dragon fly is from my stash. On two of the sides on the box I used the Love die from Sue Wilsons Expressions Collection.
On the inside I have used dies from Sue Wilson and spellbinders. From Spellbinders I used the Elegant Ovals from the Nestabilities collection and all the squares are cut with the 6x6 "Matting Basic A+B"; from Sue Wilson I used the following: "Special day" from the Expressions collection, "Happy ever after" from the Special Occasion collection and "Melbourne" from the Australian collection.
For the cake I cut out circles using dies from Nellie Snellen. The rest I have cut by hand, and after glueing the cake together, I decorated it with ribbon and roses from WOC. I was very happy with the way the card turned out and so was my colleague. She told me afterwards that the guests at the wedding paid more attention to my card that they did to the presents the couple received 😊.
With this card I'm participating in Maja Designs Mood Board challenge for July/August. This is the mood board:

A summer layout
I'm really enjoying making layouts and I have found a lot of pictures that I want to scrap, among those I found the these two which are from May 2008, when we were on our summer vacation in El Salvador.
I have used papers from UHK Gallery from the collections "Spring in Avonlea", "LOFT Marina" and "LOFT" (a sheet named Rusty) and some white corrugated paper. The background is painted with clear gesso, and then I used some modelling paste mixed with white gesso to stencil the circles with a Dutch Doobadoo stencil.
The chipboard is from Anemone (Scrapek) and is painted with white gesso.
The flowers are from WOC, my stash and some homemade foamiran flowers where I have added a light green halfpearl to the centre.
I finished off by adding some shells, some microbeads and sprayed with some Pearl Mist from Cosmic Shimmer Mist.

Maja Design has just released their new collection "Denim & Friends" and it is just gorgeous, just look here:
This collection can be used for so many projects, so I would really like to win it. I love that Maja Design has started to make monochrome papers to match their collections, since I always have problems finding matching papers for my projects.
