Card for Sofie

A few weeks ago our media graphics trainee went to her final exam and when she came back to work we had bought a big bottle of Asti and some chocolate for her, and I made this card to go with the presents:
For this card I used papers from Lemoncrafts "Gossamer Blue" collection and some blue cardstock, and I disrespect all the edges. I have used tulle, lace from China and Lemoncraft, flowers from China and WOC, the little frame is also from China and the halfpearls are from my stash. The two tags was die cut using dies from Nellie Snellen and are tied together with some ribbon I had in my stash.

Glass dish

In the end of February I went to a glass course. This is something I have wanted to do for a while, so I was very excited about it and I knew ahead of time that I wanted to make a decorative dish for our coffee table. When it comes to interior decorating my favorite colors are red, black, grey and white so of course the dish had to consist of these colors. This is the result:
The picture is not the best, but I am very happy with how it ended up looking. In April I am going to another one, and I have already decided to make another decorative dish or maybe to smaller ones, but with a different design.

Another layout of Isabella

Dusty Attic has the prettiest mood board for March and it looks like this:
Which inspired me to make this layout of my oldest daughter:
I absolutely love soft pink colors and adding flowers to my things and in this layout I most definitely combined these two things :-).
I have used papers from UHK Gallery from the collections "Misty Morning", "Spring in Avonlea" and "Loft". From Dusty Attic I have used "Page Pebbles #11", "Foliage #4" and "Mini Scroll #2". The page pebbles and mini scrolls were first covered with white gesso, afterwards they were inked with "Spun Sugar" from Distress Ink and finally I sprayed them with a Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst spray (but I am not sure if it was "Pretty in Pink Pink" or "Cotton Candy Pink". The foliage chipboard was also covered with white gesso and then inked with "Bundled Sage" and "Forest Moss" Distress Ink, but I wasn't happy with the color, so I mixed some gesso with Lindys Magicals "Drop Dead Gorgeous" and sprayed them with the matching starburst spray. I used a stencil from Balzer Design (The Crafters Workshop) and some modelling paste, and when it had dried I also used the green spray on those. I added some pink lace and a couple of silver crowns from my stash, and made af few ink splatters with both the green spray and both of the pinks I mentioned earlier. All the flowers are from WOC.

Here are some close-ups:

Violet and gold card

The other day I was playing with some of my new stuff and out of that came this card:
For this card I used papers from UHK Gallery's "Autumn in Avonlea" collection. The squares are handcut and distressed. The paper in the back of the card was painted with "Golden sleigh bells" from Lindys Stamp Gang to get a more golden look. I used the same spray for the chipboard (Scrapek), the cheesecloth, the roses and the large frame, which is cut out in yellow card stock twice with Spellbinders "Oval Ironwork", glued together and then sprayed. The smaller frame is cut out with a die from Spellbinders "Elegant Ovals". I added lace, ribbon and halfpearls from my stash and some flowers from WOC.

Card for a double birthday.

My colleagues son and his girlfriend held their birthday party together and my colleague asked me, if I could make a card that represented both of their interests, which were movies (his) and parrots/parakeets (her). I created this card:
I used papers from Maja Design "Ska vi ta en Fika" collection. The squares are handcut, distressed and inked with "Vintage Photo" from Tim Holtz. I also tore a piece of paper and inked the edges of that. I used some cheese cloth which I inked with 2 different inks - "Vintage Photo" and "Wilted Violet" - and put that behind my filmstrip, which was cut with a China die. The pictures of the birds was some I found on Google. The banners are cut with a die from the "Christina Collection" from Card Making Magic. For the letters I used a die from Joy Crafts, Happy Birthday is a Tattered Lace die. The banner, letters and Happy Birthday are all slightly inked with "Vintage Photo". Flowers are from WOC, chipboard from Scrapek and the halfpearls are from my stash.
