Confirmation card

I have had a few orders for cards for confirmations this year, this one was for a girl, and it just had to be girly, which it definitely was.

I have used papers from UHK Gallery and kraft paper. The picture I found on Pinterest. Flowers and lace is from WOC. The squares and the cross is cut out with Spellbinders dies, and for the word "Konfirmation" I used a die from Nellie Snellen. The letters for the name are cut out with a die from Joy Crafts. I colored the lace with a Spectrum Noir marker to get a very light pink color. The finishing touches are a ribbon (from my stash) and some cheesecloth. I'm very pleased with how this card turned out.

Confirmation card

This year I've had several orders for confirmation cards, this one was for a friend's daughter, so I had a chance to make it girly and romantic.

For this card I used papers from Maja Design, which I've cut out with square dies from Spellbinders as well as having used some scrap pieces. All squares have been distressed and inked with distress ink from Tim Holt. The doily die that I have used on both the front and behind my text on the inside,  is a die from Sue Wilson. The cross, which I like to use on confirmation cards, is also a Spellbinders die. For the word "Konfirmation" I have used a die from Nellie Snellen. Flowers and ribbon is from WOC, the ribbon is colored with distress ink as well. Finally it's decorated with some cheesecloth and a pearl ribbon from my stash.

With this card I'm participating in Maja Designs June challenge, this is their moodboard:

Now it's official....

...I have a teenager in the house 😨. On June 5th, my oldest turned 13, and so she is officially a teen, unofficially she has been behaving like one for at least the last year. As usuall I made her a card, and since Lemoncraft has a new challenge, I decided to make it, so it matched their criterias.

I have used paper from the 2 collections "Gossamer Blue" and "Everyday Spring", chipboard from Anemone/Scrapek, which I painted with a coat of white gesso and then I sprayed it with some Cherry Red from Tim Holz Dylusions Ink sprays. The small doily is made with a die from Intricut and the numbers I have cut out using a Marianne Design die, and I used some blue shiny paper bought at a local dollar store for them. Happy Birthday is cut out using a die from Tattered Lace. I used some cheese cloth and some half pearls for decoration as well.

I participate in Lemoncrafts June challenge.

Masculine birthday card

Back in February it was my Godfathers birthday so of course I had to make a card for him. I must confess that I like most other scrappers are more into making feminine card and sometimes find it quite difficult to make cards for men. But I think this one turned out okay.

For this card I have used papers from UHK Gallery, from the collection LOFT Marina. I have also used some Anemone chipboard from Scrapek.pl. The picture with the car is also from UHK Gallery from the collection called Monsieur. Then I have used some half pearls and an old button to decorate it with.
