Faceted gift bag

A while ago my son was going to a 4 x birthday party so he needed something to put the cash in. Usually I (or himself) make a card and we stick the money in that, but I felt like trying something different and searched on Pinterest for gift bags. I found a cute one that I tried to make, and I think it turned out good, so I made 4 more (since the first one had a few flaws) one for each kid:
For all for of them I have used paper from UHK Gallery and ribbon from my stash. And then I made some small gift tags of craft paper. The "recipe" can be found HERE.

Quick card

I had to send some stickers to my Godparents. They got a new mailbox and my husband can make stickers with names to put on, and so I made a quick spring card to put the stickers inside, so they wouldn't get to bend in the mail. It is a very simple card, but I like how it turned out.
Materials used:
Green cardstock
Paper from a paper pad bought in Lidl
China die
Tulips (bought in SuperBrugsen a long time ago)

Christening cake for Laura

My boss had a baby girl back in October and March 14th it was time for her christening and he asked me if I would make the cake for them. It has been a long time since I last made one, so I must say I am a bit out of practice but I accepted anyway. The cake was ordered to be for 35 people but due to the Corona virus they ended up being a lot less, so I think the top cake went into the freezer. Here's the cake which I think turned out really pretty:

The cake consisted of 2 layers of yellow cake (drømmekage med et twist) and 1 layer of chocolate cake. The mousses were Bailey's mousse and raspberry mousse and I covered the cakes with SMBC before I put the homemade fondant on. All the decorations are also made in fondant, so it is all edible.

Acrylic pouring class

A week and a half ago I went to a class about acrylic pouring. And it was so much fun making these kind of paintings, at least if you don't mind not being able to control the outcome. I made 4 paintings, using 4 different techniques. Unfortunately we all had a hard time getting some good cells, but I think the paintings turned out okay anyway.

For this one I tried dirty pouring together with the string pull technique. This is also my favorite.
It is not so dark in real life, but it was hard to take pictures of it.

This one was open cup pouring, and made with some of my left-over paints.

For this one I used the swipe technique.

And lastly for this one I used th collander pour technique.

I definitely have to try this again, I am hoping to make some really nice pictures to hang on the wall.
